Mail to Archive
The EMA Mail to Archive module is an ideal solution to archive e-mail without
any additional effort. EMA can be integrated into your existing IT and e-mail
infrastructure in very little time. Once integrated, it is immediately ready to
use. EMA will run completely independent of mail servers, mail client, storage
technologies, hardware components, and operating systems. Nothing is installed,
replaced or changed on your mail server or mail client, which guarantees that
the integration of EMA is seamless.
In fact, EMA can usually be integrated into your infrastructure while your systems
are running, Once installed, EMA will automatically encrypt, digitally sign, and
place all incoming and outgoing or internal e-mail messages in the archive, along
with a digital date and timestamp. Messages are archived in their original format
(SMTP, RFC 2822). EMA automatically indexes documents and makes them retrievable
using full text search after very little delay. The same is true for attachments,
which EMA will also add to its index.
